Red carpet essentials: Shop the beauty products stars swear by (2025)

And while celebrities’ designer gowns will cost you thousands —provided they’re not custom creations or archival pulls, that is — their pre-show beauty routines are often peppered with actually affordable products.

So before awards season comes to a glamorous conclusion at Sunday’s Oscars, we scoured years’ worth of A-list events to find stars’ most frequently used beauty staples —from luxury skincare to an $8 body oil.

L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion

Stars shine a little extra thanks to this bronzing beauty buy, which is also a Page Six reader favorite. Kendall Jenner, Elle Fanning and Camila Cabello all wore the glow booster for the 2024 Met Gala, while Jane Fonda and Monica Barbaro tried the new Lumi Le Glow Tint (which offers a little extra coverage) for the 2025 SAG Awards.

Martha Stewart’s also a fan; her makeup artist, Daisy Toye,told Peopleshe uses Lumi Glotion “every day” on her star client. (“It’s how she gets that dewy look, like she just got a facial,” she added.)

Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray

Stars are wowed by this viral smoothing spray. Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, the brand’s global ambassador, had spritzed the frizz-busting find on famous clients like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez ahead of everything from the Met Gala to the Super Bowl halftime show, respectively.

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

When it comes to splurging on skincare, Hollywood’s obsessed with Augustinus Bader. This awards season alone, celebrity facialist Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine’s used its product line —including this richly hydrating moisturizer — on Zoe Saldaña, Colman Domingo and Sharon Stone. (He got celebs like Naomi Campbell, Phoebe Dynevor and Chris Hemsworth camera-ready for the 2024 Met Gala with the same pampering process, too.)

“Celebrities don’t have the luxury of time, despite what we are told, to do all of these beauty treatments and invasive procedures,” McLeod-Valentine told Page Six Style in 2022. “They need simple but highly effective products that immediately improve the skin but will lead to accumulative transformation.”

Copy Taylor Swift’s red lip classic thing with Pat McGrath’s Elson, one of her go-to shades. Named after flame-haired supermodel Karen Elson, the blue-based crimson lipstick has also popped up on Nicole Kidman, Nina Dobrev, Christine Baranski and Nicola Coughlan. The hot hue regularly sells out, though, so if you find a tube in stock, we’d suggest snapping it up ASAP.

Lumify Redness Reliever Eye Drops

Plenty of stars are eyeing Lumify’s under-$20 eye drops for on-camera days. Jessel Taank told us they’re “magic,” while “Las Culturistas” co-host Matt Rogers said he uses them before taking photos for “an extra pop in your eyes.”

Brooke Shields is also obsessed, telling us, “My eyes get really red. This is the only one that has cleared them up almost instantly, and it’s non-addictive.”

Even Taylor Swift’s longtime makeup artist, Lorrie Turk, is a fan; she said on Instagram Stories that it’s “excellent for whitening eyes.”

Plenty of stars go from red light to red carpet with skincare gadgets like this CurrentBody mask. Halle Berry used it to prep for the 2023 Oscars, while Serena Williams included it in her Vogue “Beauty Secrets” episode.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian’s such a fan, she gave out the masks as Christmas gifts in 2023,raving on Instagram, “I’m obsessed with these.”

Armani’s smooth-finish foundation just might be an awards show good luck charm. Sabrina Carpenter wore it for the 2025 Grammys, while Cynthia Erivoo, Ayo Edebiri and “Anora” star Mikey Madison all have worn it to various ceremonies this season.

While stars have access to pretty much any product under the sun, Isabel Alysa’s Dolce Glow line’s among their favorites for a sun-kissed glow. The celebrity spray tan artist’s worked with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Selena Gomez to Miley Cyrus, the latter of whom even invested in her brand.

“When you’re looking at someone on the red carpet …. 99% of the time I’d say it’s because they got a good spray tan,” Alysa told us, noting that beyond bronzing, the sunless glow functions like a “filter on your skin” to “help tone, reduce appearance of cellulite [and] blur imperfections.”

When it comes to heated hair tools, Dyson’s are among the (figuratively) hottest in Hollywood. The brand’s multi-styling Airwrap comes with multiple attachments to curl, shape, smooth and dry hair.

Sabrina Carpenter reached for the TikTok-loved toolbefore the 2024 Met Gala, whileJeremy Allen Whiteused it to perfect his curlsprior to the Golden Globes the same year.

Khloé Kardashian’s also a Dyson devotee; in 2023, shetold the Hollywood Reporterit “gives you that beautiful blowout look that we all long for, and it’s super easy to use.”

And while it’s been used on everyone from Emily Blunt to Demi Moore, leading ladies aren’t the only ones who swear by the stuff; “George Clooney loves it just as much as Amal Clooney [does],” Tilbury told us exclusively.

Cardi B and Keke Palmer reached for this no-frills formula prior to the 2024 Met Gala and 2025 NAACP Awards, respectively.
